It's true. I don't handle waiting very well. And don't get me started about how I feel about being stuck in traffic (Friend is still my favorite F word, except when I drive). I used to joke that the day I was born the angels were mimicking that bandit from The Treasure of the Sierra Madre who famously said "We don't need no stinking badges." Except they substituted patience for badges.
So when I signed a contract for Cooking Up Love, and then immediately after for Hearts In Harmony I was over the moon. My hard work had paid off, and someone other than family might read my stories. Imagine, if you will, how restless and anxious I was when I heard Book 1 wouldn't be out for ten months, and Book 2 not for another four months after that. Let's just say I turned to chocolate for solace. It wasn't pretty.
Surprisingly enough, the fourteen months passed more swiftly than I'd believed possible. Between editing the first two books and writing the third, the time passed in a blink of an eye. Except for the last two weeks prior to my May 5 release of Hearts In Harmony. Longest weeks ever.
And now, Hearts In Harmony has been born, and the waiting began again with Exposed To Passion. Hurry up October. Hurry up.
If you want to make the time pass faster, I'd suggest reading. Any book will do. I'll help you get started. Here's were you can purchase Hearts In Harmony.
